Club History
 

In 1977, Keith Hayward Sensei (6th Dan Shidoin) started Ken Mon Kan Aikido Club in Oakengates Shropshire. Over the years the club has produced a number of Dan Grades (Black Belts) who have gone on to start their own clubs. One of these Dan Grades was Andrew Humphreys

 
Andrew Humphreys began training in 1991 under the direction of Hayward Sensei. He started teaching at Ken Mon Kan - Shrewsbury in 1996. Moving to London in 2004 he assisted with teaching at Airenjuku - SOAS Aikido Club. He is now chief instructor at the Institute of Education Aikido Club


Airenjuku Aikido Club - IoE aims to give quality and friendly instruction to its student and live up to its name which translates as small hall of harmonious people.
