Andrew Humphreys Sensei
 
Andrew Humphreys Sensei began Aikido under the direction of Sensei Hayward in 1991. Since gaining qualifications in teaching he has taught in the local area and for Student Union bodies in Cumbria. He was awarded the title of Fukushidoin (Junior National Coach) in 1997 and gained 4th Dan in March 2003.
 
In 2003 he was also awarded his Senior Coaching Award. Since starting training he has regularly traveled with Sensei Hayward throughout the UK as his Kenshusei and to this day Sensei Hayward is his main technical influence.
 
More recently he has attended International Seminars in Greece and Lesvos with other UKA Shidoin and has taught on courses throughout the UK including London, Grimsby and Birmingham.

In 2004 he moved to London where he assisted with instruction at the UCL Dojo and School of Oriental and Asian Studies clubs, both of which are affiliated to the UKA.
 
In 2008 he started Airenjuku Aikido Club - Institute of Education.
